Some articles show me many reasons but I just shared a little about why you and I sometimes can't sleep well at night.
Exercising too late.
If you exercise within three hours of trying to sleep, you'll overstimulate your metabolism and raise your heart rate causing restlessness and frequent awakenings throughout the night. Try to exercise in the morning or no later than mid to late afternoon, which will result in sounder sleep.
Room temperature too warm.
Your body and brain wants to cool down when you sleep, but if your room is too warm you'll thwart the cool-down process. Having a fan in your room is a good idea because it will keep you cool and produce a consistent level of white noise that will help you fall asleep. Just don't get too cold, because that will disrupt sleep as well. (You can also try cooling your brain.)
Caffeine still in your system.
The average half-life of caffeine is 5 hours, which means that you still have three-quarters of the first dose of caffeine rolling around in your system 10 hours after you drink it. Most of us drink more than one cup of coffee, and many of us drink it late in the day. If you're going to drink coffee, drink it early.
Clockwatching.
Though it's hard not to do, don't look at your clock when you wake up during the night. In fact, it's best to turn it around so it's not facing you. When you habitually clockwatch, you're training your circadian rhythms the wrong way, and before long you'll find yourself waking up at exactly 3:15 every night.
Getting up to watch TV until you're
sleepy.
Sometimes I think the TV show can make me feel sleepy, that's sometimes isn't work. So This is a bad idea for a few reasons.
Why? First, watching TV stimulates brain activity, which is the exact opposite of what you want to happen if your goal is to sleep soundly. Second, the light emitted from the TV is telling your brain to wake up (see #1 above).
Trying to problem-solve in the middle of the night
Having problems in life is normal that's mean you still alive. But how the problems make you can't sleep. All of us wake up at times during the night, and the first thing that pops into our heads is a big problem we're worried about.
The best thing you can do is stop yourself from going there and redirect your thoughts to something less stressful. If you get caught up on the worry treadmill, you'll stay awake much longer.
Eating protein too close to bedtime.
This is sometimes making me on trouble, eat to much protein in near bed time that's making me can't sleep well. The reason is Protein requires a lot of energy to digest, and that keeps your digestive system churning away while you're trying to sleep — bad combination. Better to have a light carbohydrate snack.
Mmm we know we need sleep. But how if we can't sleep well at night. Little renew why we need sleep at night.
Getting a good night's sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your overall health and well-being. Adequate sleep gives your body time and energy to recover from the day's stresses, and helps you to stay sharp and focused throughout your day. If you've already figured out how to fall asleep, but you're having trouble getting good sleep through the night (i.e., you're tossing, turning, waking up more than once), there's a lot you can do to ensure a peaceful night's slumber!
How to get sleep well:
Maintain your mattress. Replace it
after five to seven years of regular use.
If you feel springs or ridges beneath
the surface when you're lying on the
bed, or you and your partner tend roll
to the middle of the bed(unintentionally), it's time to go
mattress shopping.
Making your room like heaven
Why because when you feel comfortable in your bedroom, then you can sleep well.
Don't working in your bed
That's making sense, if you are doing activities like reading or typing on your bed. That's making you can't sleep
Avoid going to bed on an empty
stomach
A completely empty stomach may interfere with your sleeping patterns just as much as going to bed full.
I wish some the information I did research from some website will make us sleep well. Because if we can't sleep well at night we can get trouble in a day because we can get headache, sleepy and can't consentrate. That's trouble for students and also employers and wives too because can't maintance house if feel sleepy and weak.
