Mmmmm I love this cake, Kue Lapis or you can call layered colorful cake. My mama always make it when I was kid and I also can make this too, but need time and also tired. This cake made of glutinous rice flour, coconut and sugar.
 
Okay many variant and taste of this cake, maybe some people put 2, 3 until 4 color. But I just like white and chocolate. Let's we see how to make this cake :) Special for my readers

Ingredients for the cake layers :

    
200 grams sago flour or starch .
    
75 grams of rice flour .
    
200 grams of sugar .
    
1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder .
    
1/2 teaspoon salt .
    
600 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut , take 150 ml of coconut milk , bring to a boil .
    
2 drops of red dye .
    
3 drops of green dye .
How to make and cook the cake layers :

    
Melt 50 grams of corn starch with 50 ml of coconut milk . Pour 150 ml of coconut milk and sugar to boil , stirring . Chill .
    
Mix the remaining corn starch , rice flour , vanilla , and salt . Pour the batter into the above while diuleni sago and coconut milk poured a little - a little until blended .
    
Take the dough 6 tablespoons batter . Add red coloring . For the rest of the dough into 2 . One part add green dye , one part let white .
    
Prepare a baking sheet 16 x 16 x 7 cm were smeared with oil and plastic dialas .
    
Pour a layer of white batter ( 90 ml ) . Steam 5 minutes until cooked . Pour a layer of green ( 90 ml ) . Steam 5 minutes until cooked . Do it until the dough runs out .
    
Last pour a layer of red batter .
    
Steam 15 minutes until cooked . Cut - cut when cool . serve.
